Apple iPhone 5 tipped to boost global smartphone market (Gartner)
The launch of an Apple iPhone 5 is widely tipped to take place later this year and the research firm Gartner expects to see that introduction provide the global smartphone market with a significant boost.

Asus has confirmed that some of its Transformer tablet computers are set to receive an update to the latest Jelly Bean version of the Android operating system. There is no specific word on precisely when the devices will get the upgrade but it looks certain to be over the course of the next couple of months.
