Motorola has confirmed that its first Android tablet, the Xoom, is to be made available in the UK and much of Europe at some point during the second quarter of this year.
How much it might cost consumers to get their hands on a Xoom is yet to be revealed but Motorola has been keen to talk up the attributes of its Honeycomb slate at the on-going Mobile World Congress in Spain.
An American release is expected in a few months time and Europe shouldn’t be all that far behind, with the company aiming to capture what it can of the non-iPad tablet market on both sides of the Atlantic.
