Three new tablet PCs are in the offing from Toshiba next month, Toshiba will launch Windows 7, Android and Chrome OS based tablets at CES 2011.

The Japanese multi-national is planning a three-pronged attack on the tablet PC sector, with each device expected to come equipped with one of the Windows 7, Android or Chrome operating systems.

Contacts within Toshiba have revealed that two of the devices will be a shade over ten inches, while the other will be an inch and half larger at 11.6”.

Toshiba of course is best known for its huge range of laptop computer products and the new tablets, which look set for launch in early January, are being viewed simply as an extension to that well-established set of PC devices.

Apparently not content with these expansive intentions however, Toshiba is also reckoned to have designs on the seven-inch tablet sector in which the Samsung Galaxy Tab has already made worthwhile headway since its launch in various markets earlier this autumn.

The 2011 CES is set to take place in Las Vegas between January 6th and 9th, and the event tends to feature some dramatic revelations from the great and the good of consumer technologies, as well as some of the world’s best-known and usually well-liked celebrities.
