Another day another instalment in the HP tablet saga.
it wasn’t that long ago that Steve Ballmer announced the slate and then there were delays, cancellations, resignations, patent applications, project shelving and here we are.. HP have announced the HP Slate (again).. but this time they’ve said that the slate will be exclusively an ‘enterprise’ product. i.e. just for business customers and not for consumers.

What this means, is still a bit hazy, but we’re sure more revelations, twists and turns are due before this hits the shelves this winter.

3D is all the rage these days and lenovo are trying hard to get in on the act.
They’ve launched their IdeaPad Y560D 3D laptop.

There were early reports that they were having issues to power a 3D laptop but that seems to have been fixed.
The power needed to fuel a 500GB HDD, 4GB RAM, 64 bit Windows 7 OS, 1.6GHz i7 processor and a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5730 graphics card comes from a 6 Cell battery that also gives it around 4 hours of battery life.
