HP has launched three mini netbooks. These netbooks are stylish and with a price of as low as $279.99, these are going to be the talk of the town. These HP netbooks include 3G wireless networking which were only available on the expensive laptops. HP is offering Windows XP on two of the netbooks while as the other one comes with Ubuntu Operating system. Windows XP minis come with 1GB of memory, while Linux ones can get up to 2GB and the memories on all the units is expandable. Here is the feature list of all three netbooks:

Lenovo’s newest pride, the IdeaPad S12 is the first netbook which features Nvidia’s Ion chipset. The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 is a 12-inch netbook which promises the whole HD-playing, game-conquering Ion experience for around a price of around $500. The Nividia’s Ion platform is Intel’s Atom processor combined with the Nvidia 9400m graphics unit. With nVidia Ion, it is possible for this IdeaPad netbook to offer smooth 1080p video decoding including accelerated h.264 playback, Blu-ray playback and moderate gaming capabilities. The 12 inch screen will have a resolution of 1280x800px. The Lenovo IdeaPad S12 will have 1GB of RAM, 160GB HDD, a 4-in-one card reader, a 3-cell battery (upgradeable to 6) and an ExpressCard slot for 3G expandability. The sale of the Ideapad S12 will begin in July and the netbook will come pre-installed with Windows XP which is kinda weird for a $500  netbook. Acer has recently released a new netbook. This new 11.6 inch netbook is a great addition to its line of netbooks. The new netbook, called the LT3000 features a 1366×768 resolution display, a 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, a 1GB of RAM, 160GB of HDD and US15W chipset. The new netbook comes with a built-in 3MP webcam and pre-installed with Windows XP operating system. Other noteable features include three USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless LAN, Bluetooth 2.0 and a card reader. The new LT3000 notebook weighs a little over 1.25kg and measures 258.5 × 184x 26.4mm. A fully charged battery is enough  for only 3 hours. This netbook will retail at a price of 65,000Yen ($685) in Japan.

MSI have recetly announced GX723 gaming laptop. The MSI GX723 has been designed specifically for gaming. This new laptop sports a 17-inch WXSGA screen. the MSI GX723 gaming laptop comes with an Intel Core Duo processor, a NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M graphics, up to 4GB of RAM, a choice of either a 320GB or 500GB hard drive, a six/nine cell battery and Windows Vista Home Premium OS. The GX723 selects the brand new ECO Engine, the outstanding and unique power saving function by MSI Notebook, as the power management function to extend the battery running time while performing different tasks.

The ECO quick launch touch sensor can be used to switch between different modes like Gaming mode, Movie mode, Presentation mode, Office mode, and Turbo Drive mode. The much hyped and anticipated super-skinny netbook from ASUS, the ASUS Eee PC 1005HA, has just got its product specifications page. The new Netbook comes in the Seachell range of products from ASUS. The ASUS Eee PC 1005HA will have user-replaceable batteries and a choice of Intel Atom N270 or N280 processors. there are a few variations available in these netbooks like, 1.3-megapixel or 0.3-megapixel webcam, a choice of either Windows XP or GNU Linux, and a choice of colors: white, black, pink or blue.

ASUS is putting 3 batteries for offer, a 3-cell 2.2Ah (23W/h) pack rather for 4hrs, two 6-cell packs, one 2.2Ah (48W/h) good for 8.5hrs runtime and another, 2.8Ah (63W/h) which delivers a claimed 10.5hrs. Among the other noteable features are WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and ethernet, together with three USB 2.0 ports, VGA out, audio in/out and a MMC/SD(SDHC) card reader.

The ASUS Eee PC 1005HA-M will be priced at $405 while the Eee PC 1005HA-H will come in at $473. both are set to a July launch in France.
